Our mandate is to serve as the common voice of the dairy processing industry in British Columbia. In carrying out this mandate, the BC Dairy Council:

• represents dairy processors in dealing with government, other industry organizations and various stakeholding groups.
• serves as a forum through which member companies may address technical issues & policy matters affecting the industry as a whole.
• facilitates the implementation and coordination of responsible business practices to supply consumers with safe, high quality dairy products at all times.
• liaises with all levels of government in matters of public policy, regulatory issues, and legislation that affect the dairy processing industry. 
• serves as a vital link between consumers, distributors and milk producers in the supply chain.
